INSTANT POT CREAMY CHICKEN WITH SPINACH RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons butter

1 diced onion

2 minced garlic cloves

a half cup chicken broth

2 pounds chicken tenderloins

1 cup thick cream

2 cups spinach, packed loosely

1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shaved


HOW TO MAKE CREAMY CHICKEN WITH SPINACH

1. Turn on the Instant Pot's Saute function. When the butter, diced onions, and minced garlic cloves are warm, add them to the pan. 2 minutes in the oven

2. Pour in the chicken broth and then the tenderloins.

3. Cook for 7 minutes on high pressure (Manual or Pressure Cook).

4. Allow the Instant Pot to naturally depressurize for 10 minutes after the timer turns off. Then let go of the remaining pressure.

5. Using tongs, transfer the chicken to a plate. Return the Instant Pot to the Saute setting and stir in the heavy cream and shaved parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is totally melted and incorporated.

6. Cook for another minute after adding the spinach.

7. Return the chicken to the Instant Pot. Serve the chicken with the cheese sauce.
